"How do I become a Rocketeer?"

  • First 1-2 months of each semester is our Recruitment Period*

  • The Recruitment Period starts off with a General Body Meeting​​

    • Check below for the current GBM date, time and location​

    • This meeting will cover the process of joining Rocket Project

    • You only need to go to one GBM

    • If you miss the GBM dates, you can view the slides here, then sign up with the link below!

  • There are TWO main tasks to complete during the recruitment period:

    1. Safety 101

      • Attend a Safety 101 safety class. This is REQUIRED!

      • There will be multiple classes but you only need to attend one.

      • Class sizes are limited and are on a first come first serve basis.

      • Print, read, and sign this form, then bring it in during a Rocket Project meeting or turn it into Kendall Miller

    2. Section Introductory Project

      • We have 5 sections in Rocket Project: Structures, Avionics, Manufacturing, Propulsions, and Fluid Systems.​

      • Each section will have a task designed to teach you the basics of
        what they do.

      • You can sign up for as many sections as you would like.

      • This will help you determine which section you are interested in being involved with.

      • Signups for these tasks will be available after you complete the Safety 101 course.

  • Rushed Introduction

    • If no more Safety 101 courses are being offered, you can take the course online!​

    • First, review the GBM slides above.

    • Second, review the Safety 101 Slides here.

    • Then, take the Safety 101 Quiz. You must get 100% on the quiz to pass.

      • Link will be provided when Rushed Introduction is open
